2013
The Beginning
Seed2Feed started as an initiative in the Netherlands, leading to a 3-day conference in Delft hosted by Rabobank with 300+ participants from Africa and the Netherlands.
2015
From Ideas to Action
The conference inspired Dutch entrepreneurs to launch projects in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Results from 8 projects were presented in a follow-up conference in Berkel.
2017
Foundation Established
The Seed2Feed foundation was born. A team of food and finance professionals joined forces to initiate projects, bring parties together and provide financial solutions.
2017 – Present
Growing Impact
We organised conferences and workshops (physical and digital) on how Dutch horticulture can support international development and provided expertise across the agricultural value chain.
Today
Where We are Now
We focus on demonstration and training centers in Africa, horticulture and agribusiness training, and coaching students in assignments and internships.
