Seed2Feed Foundation is a Dutch-based NGO, embedded in the Dutch-protected vegetable horticulture value chain, focusing on knowledge exchange regarding protected cultivation of vegetables to African farmer communities and value chain partners, either by own expertise or through the network of Dutch and international horticulture experts and horticulture value chain business network partners and knowledge institutions.
Our Mission

The world population is growing, urbanization is accelerating. Over 800 mln. people go to bed hungry every night and almost the same amount of people do not have a proper diet with sufficient nutrients.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if within the next 10 years, despite the expected increase in population, the world food challenge is resolved?
Is this feasible? Yes, we strongly believe so. If we manage to share Dutch expertise about food chains internationally we can contribute to solving the world food challenge, by joining forces with international horticulture, greenhouse technology value chain partners and knowledge institutes.
